The Balkans represent a huge area full of life and beautiful natural wonders. There is so much to be seen and to be done to experience the Balkans properly. Thinking about all the different ways to really get to know this amazing region, we have carefully designed a multisport tour that will lead you through some of the most beautiful spots and take on the adventure of your life.


You will hike through beautiful mountain ranges and go canyoning through narrow gorges while being surrounded by awe-inspiring waterfalls and landscapes. We’ll take you on an unforgettable rafting experience and show you the fantastic underground world of Uvac cave. Our adventure won’t stop there. You’ll also get a chance to go kayaking and see 3 magnificent national parks inhabited by indigenous animal and plant species and explore one of the last Europe’s primeval forest – Perućac. Finally, we’ll bring the Balkans closer to you by showing you the cultural heritage of this area and by introducing you to the local cuisine which your palate will enjoy.

Balkan multisport tour

ITINERARY

Day 1 Arriving to Belgrade

Transfer from Belgrade airport to the hotel in Belgrade. Dinner at the hotel. Belgrade nightlife.

Day 2 Belgrade kayaking and biking ride

Breakfast at the hotel. We start our city tour with easy walking at Kalemegdan fortress, passing Branko’s bridge to New Belgrade’s side. After walking we will take kayaks and visit the uninhabited Great War Island – home of 196 bird species. To see another layer of Belgrade, we will take bicycles and make a circle around the city and visit some popular places. Lunch at Ada – one of the biggest parks in Belgrade. In the late afternoon, we’ll travel to Valjevo city. Accommodation in the hotel and dinner. Optional – nightlife in Valjevo city.

Day 3 Valjevo Mountains canyoning

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Valjevo mountains. Tribe canyoning tour. In 4 hour canyoning tour we will pass 5 waterfalls from 10m to 18m high. After this activity, an excelent organic lunch awaits us at authentic Serbian household. Short drive to the ethno village accommodation place on the Drina River and dinner.

Day 4 Drina River kayaking

Breakfast at the ethno village. Short ride to Perućac. Kayaking down the river Drina in the length of 23 km and for the period of 4-5 hours. During the river descent we will have short breaks on limestone or sandy beaches and lunch at the restaurant on the river bank. Kayaks can accommodate two people, they are very stable on the water and are suitable for beginners. Transfer to Mokra Gora and Mećavnik – Drvengrad, a place made for the movie “Life is Miracle” (directed by Emir Kusturica). Accommodation and dinner at the hotel on Mokra Gora.

Day 5 Mokra Gora hiking

Breakfast at the hotel. Hiking tour and visiting the best viewpoints of Mokra Gora nature reserve. In the late afternoon transfer to Zlatar mountain (1,5h drive) in Southwestern Serbia.  Accommodation in the guest house and dinner.

Day 6 Uvac caving

Breakfast at the restaurant in the guest house. Transfer to the Uvac cave system. Adventure tour through 4 km long cave. In addition to the fantastic shapes and decorations that we will see in the cave, Uvac cave is also well-known for its entrance located on Uvac lake. At the cave’s exit, we will take one-hour boat ride across the lake. Lunch in nature, local specialties. Overnight and dinner at the guest house.

Day 7 Durmitor National Park

Breakfast at the guest house. Transfer to Žabljak (Montenegro) and National Park Durmitor (UNESCO World heritage). On our way to Mt. Durmitor, we will make a stop and visit Mileševa monastery from XIII century (optional). After this cultural experience, an adrenalin adventure is ahead of us – Zip-lining over Tara Canyon. Lunch at the restaurant. Dinner and accommodation at hotel in Žabljak.

Day 8 Durmitor Mountain Hiking

Breakfast at the hotel. Hiking tour to the Ledena Pećina (Ice cave at altitude 2180 m). The tour lasts about 5 hours with the total ascent of 700m and it goes through stunning nature, mainly due to limestone rocks and plateaus. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 9 Nevidio Canyoning

Breakfast at the hotel. Short drive to Komarnica River and canyoning tour in Nevidio canyon. Jumps and slides are the main characteristics of this spectacular canyoning adventure. After four hour activities in water surrounding, we will have our well-deserved lunch and transfer back to Durmitor Mountain. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Day 10 Durmitor Mountain Hiking

Breakfast at the hotel. Ascent to the Bobotov Kuk (2522 m), the highest peak of Durmitor. Ascent will last around 6 hours with +950m climbing. Transfer to Tara River, accommodation and dinner at the rafting camp.

Day 11 Tara River Rafting

Breakfast at the rafting camp. Whitewater rafting on Tara River – descent in total length of 18 km. Depending on the time of the year and water level, rafting is classified with grade from 2+ to 4. Lunch, accommodation and dinner at the rafting camp.

Day 12 National Park Sutjeska and Perućica Hiking

Breakfast at the rafting camp. Transfer to the National Park Sutjeska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. On the way, we will approach the Perućica primeval forest, one of the very few of such kind in Europe. We will see the fantastic waterfall Skakavac, rich biodiversity and wildlife. Dinner and accommodation in the hotel.

Day 13 Maglić Mountain Hiking

Breakfast at the hotel. The ascent of Maglić Mountain will start at Lokva Dernečište and it will take us around 4 hours to the top (+700m ascent). Descending from the top will take around 3h and lead us over Trnovačko Lake where participants can enjoy stunning landscapes of the mountains Maglić and Volujak. Transfer to the town of Konjić, dinner and accommodation in the guest house.

Day 14 Neretva River Rafting

Breakfast at the guest house. Transport across the mountain pass to the starting point of our rafting trip. 25 km of rafting down the Neretva River for approximately 6 hours. Whitewater classification grade is 2-4. Lunch and beverages at Rakitnica canyon. Transfer to the town of Konjić, dinner and accommodation in guest house.

Day 15 Mostar and Dubrovnik sightseeing

Breakfast at the guest house. One hour drive to the city of Mostar. Sightseeing and wine tasting in a local winery. Lunch at the restaurant of Balkan cuisine. Two hour transfer to the sea coast and city of Dubrovnik. City sightseeing. Dinner and accommodation in the apartments of Dubrovnik city.

Day 16 Departure from Dubrovnik

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport.
